UrgoTul from Urgo Medical is a lipido-colloid wound contact layer for covering and treating skin wounds, especially those in awkward locations (toes, fingers, bony prominences) and irregular, cavity or deep wounds. In contact with exudate, the TLC technology gels and maintains a moist environment that supports healing. Flexible and conformable, it does not stick to the wound or surrounding skin, allowing atraumatic, less painful dressing changes.
- Polyester mesh coated with TLC (petrolatum, liquid paraffin, sodium CMC, polymers)
- Atraumatic removal that protects new tissue
- Can be cut with sterile scissors
- Requires an absorbent secondary dressing and fixation
- Sizes: 10 × 10 cm and 15 × 20 cm
- Contraindicated on mucosal wounds and in hypersensitivity to its components
