3M Scotchcast Plus is a casting tape made of knitted fibreglass impregnated with water-activated polyurethane resin. It is used to make synthetic casts and splints in orthopaedics and trauma care; compared with plaster it is lighter, more water-resistant and allows early weight bearing.
